The Gibsons Landing Fibre Arts Festival invites you to British Columbia's beautiful Sunshine Coast to explore the wonderful world of fibre.
Set amid spectacular mountain-to-sea scenery in picturesque Gibsons Landing, the Festival is renowned for its friendly atmosphere. Now in its eleventh year, it has grown to become western Canada's leading fibre event. We embrace all natural fibres and offer a wide range of activities and opportunities.
Whether you're an experienced fibre artist, enthusiastic novice, or just appreciate fine quality arts and crafts, you'll find something for you among the wide range of activities and opportunities the Festival offers.

Brainstorming for the Future
All participants are invited to join an idea session to discuss the future course of the Gibsons Landing Fibre Arts Festival. This will be held at Elphinstone High School immediately following the close of classes on Friday, August 20.
“YarneStorm” Gibsons for the Festival!
Celebrate everything fibre by embellishing Gibsons with your own knit or crocheted creation. Decorate a fence, door knob or bus stop or dress a statue. We encourage you to design and create items which are functional — hats or scarves which can later to be given to those in need. For full information contact Unwind Knit and Fibre Lounge at info@unwindknitandfibre.ca or call 604-886-1418.

Information on Exhibit Entry Fees
We have received some concerns regarding Exhibit Entry Fees.
In September 2009, the volunteer board of the Gibsons Landing Fibre Arts Festival anticipated the probable effects of the economic downturn on the
usual funding sources for the festival. We were denied the B.C. Gaming Grant of $15,000.00 and a federal grant for the arts of $10,000.00 for 2010.
