Come and spend an enjoyable day understanding the revolving art! You will learn the basics of bowl turning and finishing, how to select, prepare and attach wood to the lathe and basic tool needs. You will be able to turn a bowl suited to your particular level of experience. This is a workshop for novices and experienced alike – it is a popular class, so register early.

This workshop will give you a greater understanding of the advanced techniques used in bowl turning. In two full days of shop time, you will learn design principles, tool sharpening, material selection, methods of holding work to the lathe and finishing techniques. You will turn a bowl and then be encouraged to enhance it with colouring or carving or the addition of other materials.
